Requesting Accommodations
If you require accommodations for a viva (for example, extra time or typing mode), speak to your institution’s usual accommodations process first, then your instructor if needed.
What to Do
- Follow your institution’s accommodations process (disability services / learning support).
- If applicable, notify your instructor that accommodations should be applied for VivaEdu.
- Before starting a viva, use the setup screen to confirm your tools (extra time, pause/resume, typing mode, etc.).
What to Include in a Request
- The class and viva name (or due date).
- What adjustment you need (e.g., extra time, typing mode, camera exemption).
- Any documentation your institution requires.
Tip
If you’re unsure whether something is an accommodation or a preference, check your Settings and the Accommodations Overview.
