Accommodations Overview

VivaEdu supports accommodations so students can demonstrate understanding fairly, without changing the academic standard of the assessment.

What Accommodations Can Affect

• Timing: Additional prep time and/or recording time.
• Pausing: Pause/resume may be enabled with limits depending on configuration.
• Rerecording: Allow a limited number of rerecords for answers.
• Typing mode: Respond by typing instead of speaking (when configured).
• Camera: Camera may be optional or exempted when appropriate.

Where You’ll See Them

Your setup screen will show the tools available for your viva (extra time, pause/resume, rerecording, etc.). Your settings can also show what has been applied to your account.
